If you are having a problem with a federal agency, my office may be able to assist you. Caseworkers in my office can help you with federal agencies, including: the Social Security Administration, the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Medicare, the military, visa and passport offices, immigration, disability and federal employment offices. My staff and I will do all we can to assist you in bringing your problem to the attention of a federal agency. However, please be aware that I cannot direct a federal agency to make a decision.
Please contact my office by following the casework application process provided below..
Print and fill out the appropriate form below so that agencies will be able to provide us with information about your case.
Attach any relevant documents and a concise explanation of your problem.
Send the form via fax or mail to one of these addresses:

Q: Do I have to reside in the 2nd Congressional District to be able to ask Congressman Larsen for help?
Yes, you need to be a resident in the 2nd District of Washington for me to be able to help you with your case. If you aren’t sure which district you live in, please see www.house.gov. All you need is your Zip Code + 4. You can determine your full Zip Code at www.usps.gov if you are unsure of the last four digits.
Q: What if my problem does not involve a federal agency?
My office is only able to make inquiries of federal agencies. If your case involves a state or local agency, please contact your state or local government representative for assistance. There is a selected list of state and local government agencies here. You may find your state representative at www.leg.wa.gov.
Q. Can I fill out an authorization form for someone else?
Due to privacy laws, we must have the written consent of the constituent to make an official inquiry with a federal agency.
Q: What if my problem has to do with a legal issue or dispute?
As a member of the Congress, neither I, nor my office can become involved in court cases or legal issues due to the separation of powers as outlined in the Constitution.
Q: What if my problem is regarding a law I would like to see changed?
If you are advocating for a change in the law, please contact any of my offices and leave your comment.
If you are still unsure whether I can assist you with your case, please contact either my Bellingham or Everett office. My staff will discuss your situation with you and work with you to determine the best course of action.
