Commerce secretary promoting trade in Everett

EVERETT, Wash. -- Commerce Secretary Gary Locke is in Everett Monday promoting trade for small and medium-sized manufacturing companies.

The Daily Herald of Everett reports the former Washington governor and Congressman Rick Larsen are meeting with business owners at noon at Everett Community College.

Larsen says small business legislation recently passed by Congress will help connect smaller businesses with resources they need to add new markets around the world.
