EVERETT and OAK HARBOR, WA – On Monday, October 3, Rep. Rick Larsen (WA-02) will kick off a series of in-person community coffee meetings across Washington’s Second Congressional District at Everett Public Schools Community Resource Center in Everett. On Tuesday, October 4, Larsen will host a second community coffee meeting at The Center in Oak Harbor. Information about future community coffees in Skagit, Whatcom and San Juan counties will be announced soon.

Community members are welcome to attend these meetings for updates on Larsen’s work in Congress, including legislation to invest in Northwest Washington’s infrastructure, lower costs for working families and combat climate change in the Pacific Northwest. During the community coffee meetings, Larsen will answer questions from attendees and provide information on how his office can help constituents experiencing issues with federal agencies.

Since January 2021, Larsen has held hundreds of in-person and virtual meetings with constituents, community stakeholders and elected officials across his district. Since President Biden signed into law the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Larsen has held the most infrastructure-related events among Democratic members in the U.S. House of Representative. Earlier this month, he hosted a telephone town hall with 3,800 Second District constituents.
