Rep. Rick Larsen, WA-02, today announced a grant for $1,223,085 to build and modernize affordable housing on the Upper Skagit Indian Reservation. The grant was awarded under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Indian Housing Block Grant program.
“This grant will allow the Upper Skagit Indians to expand and improve affordable housing on their reservation,” Larsen said. “It will also help create local construction jobs. I am a strong supporter of local initiatives like this that develop and enhance affordable housing options.”
