Larsen Statement on House Passage of National Defense Authorization Act

Rep. Rick Larsen (WA-02), a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, released the following statement following his vote in support of the Fiscal Year 2021 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 295 to 125.

Rick Larsen (WA-02), a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, released the following statement following his vote in support of the Fiscal Year 2021 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which passed the House of Representatives by a vote of 295 to 125:

“This year’s NDAA makes important investments to strengthen military readiness, support servicemembers and their families, help small businesses compete for defense contracts, and spur innovative research to prepare for the future of national defense,” said Larsen. “I appreciate the hard work of my colleagues on the House Armed Services Committee on this bipartisan bill, and I look forward to working with my colleagues in the Senate to get the final bill over the finish line."

Larsen secured several provisions in the House-passed bill to protect national security, support U.S. servicemembers and their families, and strengthen military communities.
