Rep. Rick Larsen (WA-02) today released the following statement after voting in favor of the Continuing Resolution, which, if agreed to by the Senate, would fund the federal government through April 28, 2017.

 “With this bill, Congress has achieved the bare minimum: it has kept the federal government open. I will continue to advocate for a long-term, bipartisan spending bill that addresses priorities for working families in my District and across the country.”

 The bill funds the government at the 2016 level with increases to several programs Rep. Larsen supported, including the Everett-built KC-46A tanker, biomedical research and state grants to address opioid abuse, and funding to address the Flint water crisis.
