Small businesses are the engines of our economy, providing stable jobs and stable communities. When we think of small businesses, perhaps first to everyone’s mind is a mom and pop corner shop, but small business means much more. The title of “small business” also belongs to the manufacturers in Skagit County producing high-tech devices for consumer product testing. A small business could be a global exporter in Snohomish County making custom windows and doors. A small business could be the commercial kitchen that provides clean equipment to produce value-added products from our farmers.
Because these small- and medium-sized companies are so critical to our communities and our economy, my office works to connect business owners and potential business owners with the resources offered by state and federal agencies. If you are a small- or medium-sized business owner who is looking to reinvest in your company to grow your markets and size, there may be federally backed programs to help. Looking to grow your manufacturing business with the hopes of paying for expansion through cost-saving efficiency measures? There may be federally funded organizations to help you meet your goals.
If you are interested in learning more about the resources you are already paying for and how they may be able to help your small business, call my Everett office.
