WASHINGTON, D.C.  – Rep. Rick Larsen (WA-02) released the below statement in response to the House GOP’s inability to bring a Ukraine aid package to the House floor for a vote: 

“Speaker Johnson preparing to send GOP national security hawks empty-handed to the Munich Security Conference where they will have to answer questions about lack of Ukraine aid AND about Trump’s full surrender to Putin on Ukraine and NATO. Should be fun for them.”

Larsen: “The United States Must Continue to Stand with Ukraine”

Larsen is unwavering in his support for Ukraine as Putin’s war of aggression grinds through its second year. A member of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Larsen published an op-ed in December emphasizing why Congress must soon pass legislation that fully funds President Biden’s request for security and humanitarian aid in support of Ukraine.
