EVERETT, WA – Today, Rep. Rick Larsen (WA-02) made the below statement after Qatar Airways signed a provisional order for new Boeing 777X freighters and 737 MAX jets at the White House:

“Today’s announcement means more well-paying manufacturing jobs in Everett and fosters economic growth for local communities,” said Larsen, Chair of the House Aviation Subcommittee. “Northwest Washington’s aviation and aerospace workforce is the best in the world, and I will continue to work with the region’s leaders and stakeholders to help our region remain the aerospace capital of the world.”
